Oliver Taking It Easy

106 14
I will be meeting Oliver in person soon for another weigh in.

No doubt that Oliver is a big cat. He has big bones and long limbs. Is he overweight? In this photo, he doesn't seem to be, at least from this angle. Bonnie has mentioned, however, that Oliver has been scooting quite a bit. This is most likely due to anal sac irritation, inflammation or impaction, common in animals carrying a bit of extra weight. In Bonnie's words, Oliver's belly is "so big that he can’t clean down there." So we are looking ahead to a trim-down plan.

I will be meeting Oliver in person in February, and I am so excited! We will have new photos and updates on Oliver's reduced calorie diet and exercise plan. Another weigh in will be in order, too. We will be assessing Oliver with the Ways To Tell if Your Pet Is Overweight tips, and report back in this journal with the findings.
