Education

• While there are no set education requirements to become a webmaster, most need an associate or a bachelor's degree in computer science. However, some are able to learn the needed skills via practice and training on their own time, with no more than a high school diploma. Along with computer science, most flash web designers focus on courses in web design, information systems management and telecommunications.
  
  

Certification

• Many flash web designers receive training through certification programs, which typically consist of basic study materials and testing. Certification is often available through product vendors or professional organizations and can take a few days to several weeks to complete.
  
  

On the Job

• On the job training and experience is often the best form of training for flash web designers, who can learn all they need to know about animation and graphic design -- and graphic implementation -- while completing the work.
