Instill That Perfect Body Image From Within

Creating and keeping our own perfect body image fresh and strong in our minds is not always easy when there is a constant bombardment of images of very thin models and TV personalities on magazine covers and of course on screen.
Our ideal perfect body image can be very quickly dented by external sources and from our own self-doubts that exist and so it is important to replenish the confidence within on a regular basis.
Because our self-esteem can be impacted if our views of our own perfect body image wanes, it is important to realise that this can lead to a difficult relationship with food.
We can instil that perfect body image deep inside if we learn to listen to our body, control the amount of food that we eat by only eating when hungry and not through boredom or reassurance.
Losing weight healthily is like re-inventing ourselves, wiping the former indulgent behaviours slate clean and instead, start living naturally and caring for our bodies.
Having the right connection to food is essential and it should not be used as a prop for when we feel low.
It is important that we concentrate on the following too: · Create a regular exercise program.
For any exercise program to work, it should be a system that is enjoyable as this will keep us motivated even during those times when we feel less energetic or focussed.
· We can ask for support and encouragement from our families and friends if we feel that our confidence about our body shape is flagging.
Increased support during times of need is paramount to success.
· It is important that we are realistic about our natural body size that is based on our individual genetics.
Having an accurate perception is very important but few of us actually can perceive the truth about our own body shape, we are far too critical and that perfect body image remains ever elusive if we are not careful.
· Developing and sticking to the pre-conceived intent to improve is vital.
· Learning to understand and be accepting of our own ideals is important.
Choosing the way that we would like to live and to look, is our right and taking control is very important.
· We should not be afraid to set goals; we must always strive to improve ourselves from a health perspective.
Self limitations will always have a potential to hold us back, but this will only work if we allow it.
Previous behavioural patterns will be difficult to break but it is achievable and once new healthy eating patterns have been installed in our minds, it will be- come easier to lose weight, shape up, obtain that perfect body image and look good.
