103 13
Many people have mice problems in their garages.
These small pests find their way into your home and get the shelter they need in your garage.
There are many things you are doing to attract them to your garage and a few ways of getting rid of the mice that are in your garage.
Stop attracting the mice.
At times you have smells in your garage that are attracting these rodents.
One big source of smells is your pet food.
Keep this food in sealed storage containers to reduce the smells.
If you have foods in the garage that are stored, make sure those are sealed too.
Look around your garage for any cracks that mice can get into.
Plug all holes with steel wool since mice don't have the ability to chew through it as it's too thick.
If you want to get rid of the mice, there are three traditional methods.
There are your traditional traps, but at times these fail and are messy work with.
There are sticky traps.
These work pretty well since they will trap the mice and other insect pests, but some find it inhumane how the mice could be stuck and starve over days.
Lastly, there are electronic mice traps.
These are traps designed to eliminate mice and have a quick kill mechanism with a shock.
They won't leave the mice halfway alive for hours on end like some other traps.
Do your preventative steps first, then look into getting some sort of trap that will get rid of the mouse problem.
