Losing weight does not have to be so difficult.
After struggling with being overweight for most of my life, I finally learned how to eat and lose weight.
Not only that, but I have kept this weight off for several years now.
Here are some things you should know about losing weight and keeping it off.
  • You must walk or do some light to moderate exercise every day.
    No one wants to hear this, but if you just walk for twenty minutes each day you will see great results in a short period of time.
  • Make sure you eat breakfast.
    Your body has been fasting all night so you absolutely must eat something in the morning.
    If your stomach bothers you in the mornings, just eat something light, like a piece of toast or some fruit.
  • Increase your fiber intake.
    This is the very most important thing you can do to lose weight and keep it off forever.
    Most people are only eating about half of the fiber their bodies need.
    Eat foods high in fiber, such as legumes, fruits, vegetables, and whole grains.
    Legumes are dried beans and include split peas, lentils, navy beans, pinto beans, and more.
    They take a few hours to prepare, but will yield enough for several days.
    They are also very inexpensive.
    Eat vegetables raw or lightly steamed to hold in the nutrients and get the most fiber possible.
  • Eliminate sugar and dairy from your diet.
    These foods cause inflammation and will keep you from losing weight.
    They also may be responsible for aging your organs.
I encourage you to learn more about special diets, such as the master cleanse, that will help you to lose weight more quickly than a traditional diet.
These are especially good if you need to lose more than forty pounds.
