Decide for Yourself What to Do

You know you're unhappy with the way your life is now and you want to change something, but what can you change and how can you change it? What is it that you no longer want? Make a list of all those things that get on your nerves,  those things you don't have in your life any more and things that aren't working for you.
If things need mending, mend them.
If any to be thrown away, throw them away.
If you need to buy something and have been thinking about its ages, get on and buy it.
If it's a person who is annoying you, talk to them, listen to their point of view and tell them how to like things to be.
  As you move away from things don't like you will begin to feel better about your life What do you want instead? There's more to changing your life than getting rid of the things you don't like, it's important to decide what you want instead.
Then you have something positive to work towards and you have some incentive to make the changes that you want to make.
How could you achieve that? Having decided what you want to move towards think about all the possible ways that you might achieve that outcome.
  you are necessarily think of one way to do this, they are usually several different paths to reach the same destination.
What is the first step? In order to make changes you have to start doing things differently and the most important part of change is taking the first step, however small.
So having decided on several possible ways to achieve what you want choose the way which appeals to you most, or seems to be the most straight forward.
From the big picture of what you want to achieve and how you going to do this decide what you will do today to start the process.
What's stopping you? If you're still hesitating ask yourself  "what is the problem?"  Very often what stops people making changes is fear of how others will react to what you do.
So sometimes you may be continuing in a life which you don't like because you don't want to offend somebody else.
Ideally make what you want to do a win-win situation for both you and them.
Take action.
Get over your fears, tell people who might be affected by your changes what you're going to do and why.
Then do it.
