104 9
    • 1). Fill a clean, empty spray bottle with warm water. Add a few drops of a mild dish soap. Shake the bottle well to mix the two ingredients.

    • 2). Spray your tub with the contents of the spray bottle. Cover all of the surfaces of the tub: sides, back and bottom.

    • 3). Allow the soapy water to sit on the surfaces of your tub between 10 and 15 minutes. Scrub the surface of the tub with the soap you sprayed on and a moist sponge. Rinse the tub thoroughly with clean water.

    • 4). Shake baking soda on any areas that have stubborn grime. Rinse the sponge you used to scrub the soap until it is completely clean. Use that sponge to scrub the baking soda into the tougher grime.

    • 5). Rinse the tub with clean water. Wash away all remnants of baking soda and soap.

    • 6). Soak stubborn bathtub stains with a cleaning solution of either bleach and water or water and vinegar. Fill the tub to the top with water and add two to three cups of bleach or vinegar. Let it soak for 20 to 30 minutes. Make sure the room is well-ventilated while the solution soaks.

    • 7). Drain the tub. Use a clean moist sponge to wipe away any stains or grime still present. Rinse the tub thoroughly with clean water.
