Uses for Artificial Ivy
As well as being used in artificial hanging baskets, ivy garlands would look fantastic used in potted displays. You could try filling your trough with artificial flowers and finish by trailing ivy around the edges and down towards the bottom of the trough. It will make your display look less perfect therefore more realistic. Or why not try sprucing up a potted patio planter in the same way. These would look fantastic on your patio for the summer, and really create a wonderful display to show off for those summer garden parties and barbeques!
Why stop at single potted baskets, troughs and pots though... fake ivy garlands can be used on trellises too. Garden arches make for a wonderful feature in places such as pub gardens, home gardens and in wedding venues both inside and outside. What better (and easier) way of decorating your archway than with artificial ivy. You will find it much easier to decorate, maintain and with the added bonus of knowing that the ivy will not die or loose its colour, and most importantly that it will not overgrow in places you don't want it to.
Fake Ivy is available with either green leaves or variegated (green with brown/beige edges) leaves. They also come in a number of lengths which are normally identified in number of leaves. The standard garland will be around 6ft tall, so depending on the number of leaves you purchase will determine how full the garlands are. The range of different types of fake ivy includes wild sage in green and variegated, English Ivy, and Star Ivy. All have slightly different leaves so you can chose which is better for you depending on the look you are hoping to achieve.
I hope this has given you an insight into how ivy can be used both within business and personal use.
