How to Remove a Delta Bathroom Faucet
- 1). Shut off the hot and cold water valves under the bathroom sink. Turn the Delta bathroom faucet on to alleviate the remaining water pressure.
- 2). Spread a bath towel on the bottom of the cabinet or floor under the shut-off valves to catch the remaining water in the supply lines. Unscrew the top water supply-line nuts from the faucet with a basin wrench.
- 3). Loosen the Delta bathroom faucet's mounting nuts under the sink with a basin wrench. Finish removing them by hand.
- 4). Remove the faucet by rocking it back and forth to loosen the caulking or putty seal. Pull the faucet straight up and out of the sink.
- 5). Clean and dispose of any remaining sealant off the sink with a plastic putty knife and wet kitchen-scouring pad.
