How Can You Minimize Your Stress And It"s Causes?
It can come in the form of illness, concern about a loved one, or even unhappiness with your work environment.
During the holidays it can rear it's ugly head in the form of traffic jams, crowds in stores and shopping centers, and many times by financial problems.
In our world today the stress created by financial problems seems to be our greatest enemy.
We find ourselves, especially faced with having more days at the end of a month than dollars to provide ourselves and/or our families with necessities or gifts when gift giving occasions come up.
So, what causes most of our stress?A majority of it comes from our jobs (Just Over Broke).
Just think about your daily routine.
You get up each morning, eat a hurried breakfast, and face the traffic.
Once you arrive at work you're faced with a multitude of distractions waiting for you.
These distractions interfere with your work ethic and come from either disgruntled fellow employees or worse than that they come in the form of additional tasks your boss drops on you.
Any of these can certainly interfere with your work actions.
What if you find out that the company is going to reduce hours, cut pay scales, eliminate vacation times, or any other unexpected increase in your stress level? Any of these things can (and will) keep you from focusing on your tasks at hand, plus they will distract you all day plus you take them to bed with you.
This distraction interferes with your sleep as you worry about what can you do about them.
So, What Can You Do? This stress situation at work has got to end somehow.
You feel like a pawn with no free time of your own nor money to enjoy life more, provide better for your family, or even afford some time allowing you to enjoy the things you'd like to do.
Your life is then full of stress, and your mind wanders as to what you can do.
Find another job?Find a source of extra income?Just what can you do? During this crisis time it's not prudent to think about leaving your job and trying to replace it with another.
You'll never know if the next job is any better than the one you're thinking about leaving.
The best selection I can recommend is that you keep that job, try to ignore the problems it brings, and start thinking about starting your own part time business such as one on the Internet which you can develop without interfering with your present job.
Hopefully the day will come when you can become your own boss and create an income which will reduce your stress and increase your financial picture.
The one thing you must not do is to jump to every program thinking it will be more productive than the one you started.
This is a classical example of why you need to invoke Action Without Distraction.
