Is the Main Problem of Hemorrhoid Sufferers Procrastination?

103 36
One of the main problems of hemorrhoid sufferers is procrastination By the time most sufferers go to see their doctor, surgeon or a natural healthcare specialist, their hemorrhoids are often quite advanced.
It is estimated that 85% of people who eventually go to see their healthcare specialist have had their hemorrhoids for at least 10 years and frequently over 20 years or more before they finally do something about it.
What prevents them from seeking help and advice? Often it is fear and embarrassment of speaking to other people on a very personal problem that stops them seeking treatment, and as a consequence by the time they do seek medical advice their hemorrhoids are often at a fairly advanced stage.
Try not to procrastinate, or put it off, the earlier you start any treatment, the easier it will be and the faster you will see results.
But in order to cure any problem you need to take action, any situation will not improve if you do nothing.
Delay Hemorrhoid Surgery Delaying may lead you to think, and your doctor to recommend, that the only treatment option left may be surgery, however, I suggest that hemorrhoid surgery should be regarded as a last resort.
As, unfortunately in many cases, hemorrhoid surgery is not a cure.
Alternatively, it might be preferable, considering that many hemorrhoid sufferers have had their hemorrhoids for many years, for them to wait just a little longer and give a natural method a chance to work.
It should be taken into consideration that when by curing your hemorrhoids, you may also have the potential to improve many other aspects of your health.
So while not eliminating surgery as an option say No to surgery at least until you have tried the alternative treatments.
In some instances when for example your hemorrhoids are caused by heavy lifting, surgery can be performed to remove the swollen vein, only for the hemorrhoid to return when you start lifting anything heavy again.
Alternatively, it may be worth considering treating the vein weakness, by strengthening the veins, returning them to normal size, and seek to prevent or greatly reduce the chance of further episodes by avoiding the heavy lifting which caused the problem in the first place.
Multiple operations are surprisingly frequent and many people often require more than one operation.
Of course, sufferers do not like to talk about hemorrhoid surgery because it's not a topic many people like talking about.
Unfortunately, many doctors do not tell their patients about the possibility of multiple operations, and the patient does not always know the right questions to ask.
Again, if your hemorrhoids are caused by excessive straining on the toilet, you could easily develop more hemorrhoids again after having surgery.
It is important to try to correct what caused the problem in the first place, and in this example stop the straining, or there is strong possibility that the hemorrhoids will return.
Herbs and Natural Supplements If you are bothered by constipation, there are many herbs and natural supplements that are effective in relieving symptoms.
One option is bananas.
Bananas are one of the best fruits available to relieve both constipation and hemorrhoids.
Bananas are readily available and cheap plus they are rich in potassium and many other nutrients, they are also one of the driest fruits you can easily obtain.
This dryness is easily demonstrated by trying to juice a banana.
So, If you find bananas helpful, keep eating them.
The banana is just an example, and there are many other fruits and vegetables that are effective in helping to relieve the suffering of hemorrhoids and constipation, fruits such as papaya, oranges, and vegetables like broccoli, carrots, sweet corn, spinach, and sweet potatoes.
There are some herbs and supplements where caution should be exercised, such as Senna, which has now been identified to have dependency and other side effects.
Hemorrhoid patients are often advised to avoid spicy foods or foods loaded with chili powder in their ingredients.
Eating too much chili peppers can cause burning and irritation in the rectum and anus.
Certain countries that have many spicy food delicacies also appear to have a considerable number of hemorrhoids patients
