Guide Review - Tasting Notes and Review of Michelob Ginger Wheat from Anheuser-Busch Inbev

I'm not sure exactly what this beer is flavored with but the packaging is very careful to avoid claiming that it's ginger. Instead it uses phrases like "ginger aroma and taste," "natural ginger flavor added" and "accented by spicy ginger notes." Despite that, it's a dang gingery beer and quite enjoyable.

In the glass, the beer is orangish-yellow and cloudy. A dense, white head falls a little too quickly. The aroma is packed with the smell of freshly sliced ginger root. In the mouth, the beer is remarkably fizzy with a just a bit of grainy sweetness. This is quickly dominated by a full ginger flavor.
