A relaxing home space is really important for us to rest well when return home after a tired day. If you want to turn your home d©cor the place to lift your spirits, reduce anxiety, and invite a more restful sleep, you may try the following ideas.

To begin with, you need to create a clean and tidy home atmosphere. If your home is overrun with clutter consider these tips to clean it up.
1.Clean out your closets. Having things fall out of your closets every time you open them can be stressful, so clear out the clutter when you can.
2.Get rid of clutter. If you have things around your home that you're not using, get rid of them.
3.Get organized. Being able to find what you need when you need it will remove a lot of the stress from your life.
4.Put it away. When you're done with something, put it away. It's a simple but effective way to keep your home orderly.

Buy an air filter. Mold, pet dander, and seasonal allergies can disrupt your breathing giving your body more stress to deal with. An air filter in your home will clean the air and help you to breathe and sleep easier.

Then, repaint your wall with the soft color. The colors of your home can create a peaceful setting. Red, bright yellow and bright pink are not relaxing colors. Paint your rooms with light pink, light green or light blue. Green is especially a relaxing color and it looks great painted on the walls. The less bright the green is the more relaxing it will be. The more subtle relaxing colors you put into your home the more peaceful your home will be.

Scent evokes strong emotional reactions and contributes to the mood of a room. Your relaxing space shouldn't be near pet areas, the bathroom or the kitchen. Give the space a pleasant fragrance with bowls of potpourri, scented oil diffusers, incense or solid air fresheners. Lavender, rose and vanilla are especially relaxing scents.

Soften the light. If you don't want harsh light in your rooms, consider sheer drapes to soften it up and trade out your light bulbs. Buy yourself flowers. You don't have to wait for a special occasion to get flowers, just pick up a small bunch at the grocery store to make your space happier and prettier.
