It is easy to go through all types of emotions when you don't know what is wrong with you.
You are having symptoms that could mean a variety of different medical issues and because you are not a doctor, you get scared and sometimes think the worse things.
Absolutely yes, that of course discovering that you have hemorrhoids is an unpleasant and irritating problem to have to deal with.
However, rest assured that finding the best cures for hemorrhoids for you as an individual doesn't have to be an embarrassing and long drawn out process.
Your first move should always be to go to your doctor to get a complete examination and diagnosis.
Once hemorrhoids have been confirmed you are then free to explore the array of hemorrhoid cures that are available to you.
What you decide to use to cure your piles will depend on the severity of your piles and whether they are located inside or outside the anus.
The cures typically range from sclerotherapy, which is the injecting of chemicals directly into the piles, the burning away of the tissue/piles, banding the piles, creams, ointments and suppositories and in severe cases even surgery.
Sclerotherapy or Injections If you and your doctor opt for injections then the doctor will inject a chemical directly into the skin around the piles.
This in effect will kill the skin around the piles, so disrupting the blood supply to the piles causing them to shrivel and die.
This method of treatment is usually used for internal piles.
Banding As the name suggests, "banding" is when a doctor treats internal hemorrhoids by placing an elastic band at the bottom of the hemorrhoids.
Once this band is tightly in place, the blood supply to the piles is slowly squeezed until the supply is ended, the piles will eventually shrivel and fall off.
Infrared Coagulation Better known as the burning away of the piles via infrared light.
Used for internal piles, a blast of light is shot at the hemorrhoids and this will effectively burn the piles away.
Creams and Suppositories These methods of treating and curing hemorrhoids are really quite effective.
The draw back here is that they can only used for short periods of time.
This is because they are often steroid based and can cause further secondary problems for the user, if used longer than the recommended few days.
They work by easing the irritation and the inflammation around the anus and so ease discomfort and pain.
