Hemorrhoids Home Treatment - 4 Easy Home Treatments You Can Use For Your Hemorrhoids
In order for us to truly understand how to treat the condition, let us first learn what hemorrhoids are, how it starts, and finally what hemorrhoids home treatments we can use.
Hemorrhoids are swollen veins in the anal canal, there are two types of hemorrhoids, and they are internal and external hemorrhoids.
If the swelling is inside the anal cavity then it is internal, if the swelling is just in the opening of the anus then it is external.
Hemorrhoids can be caused by different things, but the most common of them are over straining your self during bowel movements, obesity, diarrhea and pregnancy.
The most common symptoms of the condition are bleeding during bowel movement, itching and rectal pain.
The condition is so painful that it can even lead to depression.
However, even if it sounds really fatal, hemorrhoids can be cured.
You can either have them surgically removed, which is very painful by the way or you can use home treatments to reduce the size of your hemorrhoids and eventually get rid of them.
Below are just some of the home treatments I personally used for my hemorrhoids.
Aloe Vera - aloe vera has been used since ancient times because of its antibacterial properties.
You can use aloe vera directly to the infected area; it will relieve you of the itching and the pain caused by the swelling.
Alum - You can dissolve 1 teaspoon of powdered alum in water then you can apply it directly to the infected area Horse Chestnut - is one of the most popular natural remedy for hemorrhoids, it promotes blood flow, growth of connective tissues and decreases swelling.
However, please do not use horse chestnut if you have kidney or liver problems.
Please do not also use it if you are pregnant or breast feeding.
Eat High Fiber - try to include high fiber foods like whole grains, vegetables, fruits, nuts in your meals.
Fiber helps our bowel movement so you don't exert too much force during bowel movement.
