    Chevrolet Aveo

    • The Chevrolet Aveo is one of several cars manufactured by Daewoo and sold under a General Motors brand name--Chevrolet. While this hatchback is marketed as the Daewoo Kalos in most parts of the world, it is sold in North America as the Chevy Aveo. This car is a subcompact that was first introduced in 2002 and features two-, four- and five-door models. The Aveo was one of the first cars Daewoo manufactured for General Motors after GM took over the failed Daewoo Group in 2001. This car seats five, rides higher from the ground like some competitors' hatchbacks, and is powered by a 1.6-liter, four-cylinder engine.

    Chevrolet Captiva

    • The Chevy Captiva is a GM-branded crossover SUV also manufactured by Daewoo. This vehicle was introduced at the Paris Motor Show as the Chevrolet S3X concept car in 2004. The car was later brought to market under the Captiva name, though it sells under different brands in other countries. The Captiva offers a 2.4-liter, four-cylinder engine, as well as an alternative V6 model. It was originally manufactured to seat five or seven, depending on the model. As a crossover SUV, GM based the vehicle's design on its existing compact SUVs already marketed in the United States--the Chevy Equinox and Saturn Vue. In South Korea, the Captiva is sold as the Daewoo Winstorm.

    Chevrolet Epica

    • One of Daewoo's mid-size sedan models, the Tosca, is also sold under the Chevrolet brand in Europe. Called the Epica when sold as a GM car, this model was first premiered in 2006 at the Geneva Auto Show. Early on, this model came with two engine options. One was a straight-six, 2.0-litre gas-powered design, while the other was powered by diesel. The interior features of this sedan are impressive: leather seats, a powerful sound system, and a large trunk space.
