These tiny sea creatures don’t look too scary at just 12-20cm in size, but they are recognised as one of the most dangerous marine animals in Australian waters, as it’s venom has no anti-venom and can kill an adult in minutes. You’ll know to steer clear when its faint blue rings pulsate in a bright, iridescent hue; they hang out in crevices in tide pools, so don’t poke your fingers or toes in strange holes.
