Choosing A Right Bed Frame

Purchasing a bed doesn't just mean walking into a showroom, selecting a design and then paying for it. There are lot more things to consider while buying a bed. The time you spend in the bed does not matters. Is that beds are meant only for sleeping? No, you can use bed to relax, to read, to chat, to listen to music, to be intimate with your partner. So before buying a bed you should be very much careful about,

Whether it is a right choice?
Whether it will be comfortable?
Whether it provides pleasant atmosphere?
Whether it goes well with the existing décor?

There are different types of beds available today. They come in all types of sizes, shapes, designs and materials. Choosing one is really difficult, especially because you do not buy one everyday. That is why it is important to determine you need first. What size of bed do you actually need? King bed frames have nothing to with royalty. Kings and queens never slept on them. It is just the size of the bed that matters. Generally, a 72" X 84" bed is termed as King-sized bed. 
What is bed frame? A bed without mattress is bed frame. A bed with head, foot and side rails is termed as bed frame. These parts head, foot and side rails are then combined to form a box like structure, in between that wooden slats are placed in a perpendicular manner for the mattress to rest. A center support rail was also placed in the king bed frames since it is larger than the rest. 
There are so many designs available in king sized beds. Before buying or choosing a king sized bed first determine whether your room can accommodate this much large bed because bed is not the only furniture you have in bedroom, you also have cupboards and desk to be accommodated and also think on the maneuvering space. 
it is very essential to place the bed in a right place, other wise the bedroom will look uglier even though the bed is very expensive and beautiful it will not look good if it is not placed in the correct place, so you need to keep in mind that head of the bed is placed against the wall leaving three sides free. You should allow at least 3' of free space on each side as much for easy movement as for aesthetic appeal and it looks good, if there is no enough space to do like that you can put the bed against a sidewall too thus only leaving two sides open but keep that as a second option. 

Not all the beds have three sides open, If you take sleigh beds it has only two sides open, Sleigh beds have footboard as well as their headboard carved and scrolled which makes them differ from other types of bed. Because of this design the bed resembles like a sled or sleigh. It is not a bed of so much fashion and all. You can choose a sleigh bed if you want a bed that is something a blend of traditional and modern. There is nothing grander than sleigh bed if you choose an appropriate one. 

Originally, such beds were all made from wood and were quite heavy. Generally, tropical hardwood such as mahogany is used to build such beds. Of course, other timbers can be used as well, but nothing can give the look and feel of a true sleigh but mahogany. However, that is my personal opinion. Today, you have such beds made from metals such as iron, steel and aluminum. The curves are also less exaggerated now. With time, preferences have changed. 

There are different types of Sleigh beds available on the showrooms. Annabelle sleigh and Isabella white sleigh are one of them. Annabelle sleigh have more contemporary look whereas Isabella white sleigh with its floral pattern are right for your teen age daughter. It is just not buying a bed which is beautifully crafted but also it should go with existing furniture and also serves it purpose well.
