- 1). Click “Start,” point to “All Programs,” click “Windows Live” and then click “Windows Live Mail.”

Click to select “This server requires a secure connection (SSL)” check box. - 13
Type “smtp.att.yahoo.com” in the "Outgoing server" box. - 14
Type “465” in the adjacent "port" box. This is the outgoing server’s port number. - 15
Click to select “This server requires a secure connection (SSL)” check box. Then click “Next.” - 16
Click the “Finish” button.
