- 1). Click the Windows "Start" button and click "All Programs." Click "Windows Mail" in the list of shortcuts to open the software.
- 2). Click the "Tools" menu item, then click the "Accounts" option. Click the MSN account in the list of setup email servers, then click the "Properties" button to open a configuration window.
- 3). Click the "Advanced" tab at the top. At the bottom configuration section, click the check box labeled "Leave a copy of message on server." You can also set the number of days the server stores the message until the software deletes the older message.
- 4). Click "OK" to save the settings. Close the main account configuration window to complete the setup.
