This gate was opened in 1993 by the Queen to honor the Queen Mother's 93rd birthday. It is in Hyde Park, behind Aspley House at Hyde Park Corner, connecting Park Lane and Carriage Road on Hyde Park.

The central screen (shown here) is by David Wynne and the six gates, railings and lamps are made from forged stainless steel and designed by Giusseppe Lund.

The tower block across the road is actually the London Hilton on Park Lane.
