  Eagar is a small mountain town popular with tourists and outdoors enthusiasts. Located in the White Mountains in eastern Arizona, Eagar is spared the blistering heat of the desert. The town is easily accessed by road from Phoenix, Albuquerque, Tuscon and small major cities in both New Mexico and Arizona. Visitors come to Eagar for fishing and hunting in the summer, and for skiing and snowmobiling in the winter. Whenever you visit Eagar, you will find plenty to do, many options of lodging, and a variety of restaurants and bars. Neon Moon

• The resort town of Greer is about a 30-minute drive southwest of Eagar. Part of the Greer Lodge Resort, the Neon Moon is a bar for guests and the public to enjoy. The Neon Moon has a large deck overlooking the Greer Valley. Neon Moon is open from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. for a happy hour and dinner, and sporting events are featured on the bar's big-screen televisions. Black Diamond Bar

• Sunrise Park Ski Resort is a popular White Mountains ski hill. Locals and visitors come for the varied ski terrain and calm, easygoing atmosphere. The lodge can accommodate up to 200 people, and has two restaurants including the Black Diamond Bar.
