    • 1). Fold the paper over if your Geha shredder will not operate after feeding paper in it -- the paper may be too thin. Feed the folded paper into the shredder.

    • 2). Pull out jammed paper if your shredder will not operate by activating the "Rev" button on top of your shredder along the right edge. The Rev function reverses the cutting in case a paper jam occurs. Never place your hand or fingers into your shredder to remove paper.

    • 3). Insert the paper vertically into the feeder on the top of the shredder if your shredder will not function. Your shredder can shred up to 17 sheets of paper at once. Do not insert more than that at a time.

    • 4). Disconnect your shredder from the electrical outlet if the shredder did not turn itself off automatically when the shredding completed. This means the in-feed sensor could not detect a lack of paper since it was covered with dust or paper. Wipe off excess dust with a moist cloth and remove any paper that did not shred. Reconnect your shredder after cleaning off the dust.

    • 5). Wait 20 minutes before you continue to shred paper if you see "Please Wait" on the LCD and a red, lit LED. This message means the shredder motor has overheated and shut itself off automatically. Resume shredding when you see "Ready" in the display, located on the top left of your shredder.
