How to Repel Ants With Vinegar
- 1). Pour white vinegar into a spray bottle to make it easier to use.
- 2). Spray ants to kill them on contact. Wipe away dead ants with paper towels and discard them.
- 3). Saturate areas that you have noticed ants traveling to disrupt the scent trails that they follow.
- 4). Create borders around doors and windows to keep ants out by spraying them thoroughly with the white vinegar.
- 5). Soak cotton balls in vinegar and place them on small lids around your garden to keep ants out.
- 6). Heat up a solution of white vinegar and water on the stove in equal parts. Pour the pot of hot vinegar water into their nest to drown and destroy much of their colony. A daily dose of this solution will soon deplete their numbers, forcing survivors to relocate.
