Congregation Beth Yeshurun
Located in the Meyerland area, Congregation Beth Yeshurun is the spiritual home to more than 2,300 families. The synagogue is open to the public 7 days a week and houses one of the most extensive Jewish libraries in the state of Texas.

Congregation Beth Yeshurun is also home to Houston's first Jewish Day School and Houston's largest Judaica gift shop.

United Orthodox Synagogues of Houston
United Orthodox Synagogues is situated in a quiet residential area convenient to the Texas Medical Center, Rice University and the Meyerland area. The Modern Orthodox synagogue values the Jewish community in its entirety and stays abreast of the political, social and technological issues of the modern secular world.

Houston Congregation for Reform Judaism
HCRJ is a Classical Reform Jewish Temple in the Galleria area. Under the leadership of Rabbi Steven Gross, HCRJ prides itself on its small, intimate congregation. Services are performed mostly in the English language to reach a larger percentage of the congregation. Basic Judaism courses are available for both adults and children.

Congregation Beth Israel
Congregation Beth Israel is a large congregation offering a broad range of worship services and activities.

The synagogue offers the Interfaith Couples Group, a support group for those in relationships with partners of a different faith. Congregation Beth Israel is also home to the Shlenker School, a nationally accredited early childhood and elementary school.

Congregation Emanu El
This West University synagogue is located directly across from Rice University. Emanu El leads the community in assisting the homeless, handicapped and underprivileged. Services provided at Congregation Emanu El include Bar and Bat Mitzvahs for both children and adults, confirmations, consecration, conversion, funerals, weddings, divorces and baby naming.

Temple Sinai
Temple Sinai is West Houston's only Jewish Reform congregation offering Shabbat services on Friday nights and the 2nd Saturday of each month. There are several ways to serve and fellowship including the Caring Committee to assist families when needed, a seniors fellowship group and adult classes for everything from the Hebrew language to Jewish genealogy.
