How Do I Set Up Email on an iPhone That Has a Domain Name?

    • 1). Touch the "Settings" icon on the iPhone.

    • 2). Touch "Mail, Contacts, Calendars;" "Add Account;" "Other;" "Add Mail Account."

    • 3). Enter your name, email address and password into the appropriate fields.

    • 4). Touch the blue "Save" button near the upper right-hand corner of the screen. The iPhone will try to automatically look up additional account settings required to access your email. In most cases, with custom domain names, this will fail. In the event of failure you will be presented with additional settings required to be manually entered.

    • 5). Select "IMAP" or "POP" access. Your email provider will tell you which is appropriate.

    • 6). Complete the "Incoming Mail Server" fields with your email provider's information, including host name, user name and password.

    • 7). Complete the "Outgoing Mail Server" fields with your email provider's information, including host name, user name and password.

    • 8). Touch the blue "Save" button near the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
