Why Your Bearded Dragon Won"t Eat Anything and What to Do About It

Sometimes when you have a bearded dragon as a pet, you will notice that his or her habits change.
Sometimes these habits change for the negative.
At times your bearded dragon will refuse to eat.
Find out why this is happening and some things that you can do about it to make sure that your pet is going to remain healthy.
Many times a change in location is the big reason that your pet isn't eating anymore.
It's going to take a few days to adjust to the new location before your bearded dragon is ready to eat again.
Just be patient.
If it takes more than a week, it's a more serious problem than just being a bit uncomfortable.
At times when introducing different types of food to your pet, there will be changes in the eating patterns.
If the bearded dragon isn't used to a food, it will wait awhile before eating it.
Generally you can just wait it out and the bearded dragon will get hungry enough to eat again.
This happens many times when introducing greens to your pet for the first time.
When your pet is not in the right temperature, it's going to make him or her feel sick and will not want to eat.
Make sure you have a thermometer inside the glass that you can look at to monitor temperature.
Make sure it's not touching the glass as this part will be hotter than the air inside.
If you moved the cage recently, the lighting and temperature might be different.
At times you have the wrong lighting.
Make sure you have one light for heat and an ultraviolet light that will help your pet get light similar to the sun.
Your bearded dragon might be sick.
Take your pet to the vet to see what the problem is if your pet still isn't eating.
