She suffered from bouts of depression, and she had very public weight fluctuations, but despite these symptoms, did anyone ever test Anna Nicole Smith for thyroid disease? We may never know whether before her death, Anna Nicole was diagnosed or treated for thyroid disease. But we do know that the coroner's report on her autopsy, released today, found that Smith had chronic thyroiditis / Hashimoto's thyroiditis.
And the report gave no indication that Smith was receiving any thyroid treatment, or that thyroid medications were found in her system.
