If connecting the service to a laptop computer, your system needs an available Personal Computer Memory Card International Association (PCMCIA) slot.
- The service includes step-by-step installation instructions and a DSL modem with connection cables for the type of network interface you have---Ethernet, PCI or PCMCIA. In addition, the service includes an installation program that runs a "wizard" that automatically detects your computer's Ethernet, PCI or PCMCIA network interface card and connection. The AT&T DSL service also includes online Help files for troubleshooting the service if any problems should arise.
