- Pigeon Forge is a city in eastern Tennessee located in Sevier County. As of the 2000 census, the population of Pigeon Forge was approximately 5100 people. Situated less than five miles from the park entrance, the city is a popular gateway to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Other area attractions include: Dollywood, several outlet malls and music theaters. Pigeon Forge and the surrounding area are also home to several hotels that allow smoking and have good amenities, including jacuzzis.
