Should You Try to Get Your Ex Back After You"ve Been Rejected?
This in itself is a big problem, so you shouldn't confuse yourself even more by trying to think of ways to get your ex back at this stage.
You need to sift through all the thoughts in your mind and solve them one by one, until you can think rationally once again.
Don't try to give yourself a time limit as to when you want all the problems to be solved.
This will result in you becoming even more stressed out than you already are.
Just accept that you have plenty of issues to resolve, and then give yourself as much time as you need to do just that.
It IS going to be a difficult time of your life, and no amount of crying and brooding about the break-up is going to help.
Put the fact that you want to get your ex back right at the bottom of the list in your mind.
Add to that list that your ex rejected you, and there is a very good chance that you won't get your ex back.
You can only think of trying to solve that problem when all the other problems you have, have been resolved.
Do anything you can to prevent yourself from thinking about the break up.
Keep busy, and be with people who care about you and make you happy.
Remember, it is going to take a lot of time and patience before you are properly healed after the trauma of the break-up, and support of family and friends can help tremendously.
You can also remind yourself that while you are taking time to get your own problems solved, you are also giving your ex time to think about the break up without any emotional pressure from you.
This could help tremendously when you try to get your ex back.
Although the situation is not hopeless, remember that, until you do get together with your ex to discuss the break-up, you really do no know if it was something that you said or did to make him/her walk out on you, or if it is simply that he/she does not have the deep feelings for you that he/she once had.
When the time comes for you to try and get your ex back, you have to be able to cope with whatever the outcome of the discussion is.
This will require you to have an open mind, and in a position to accept whatever happens, and get on with your life, with or without your ex.
The realization will also suddenly hit you, that by taking the time to solve your problems, you have actually become a better person.
You will also realize that, although problems cause lots of hurt and anger, they can also have a very positive effect on your life.
