Bournemouth Kids Activities - All Children"s Entertainment and Fun Things to Do!

There are around 6 theme parks within easy travelling distance of the town which cater from young to fully grown children, a multitude of activity centres and the obligatory animal farms and sanctuaries as well as several wildlife parks even a fully functional safari park, beware of the tiny possessed monkeys ripping you car aerial off for their own amusement! It actually happened to me! The tip of the day is to push anything that sticks out back in before you go! The world famous Monkeyworld, an ape rescue centre, is 20 minutes drive from the town as is The Tank museum which houses one of the worlds finest collections of tanks going back to the dawn of tank production until today! Beaulieu the home of the largest collection of cars in the Uk is also within a short distance from the town and is well worth a visit! The first car ever made to super cars of all descriptions make up a unique collection of hundreds of cars famous through history! A fantastic aviation museum at Bournemouth airport which restores and flies planes from various eras including vampires and more and an Alice in wonderland theme park (now called adventure wonderland) right next to the aviation museum.
There is Dorset's greatest maze right nearby as well.
There are endless Castles, model towns and villages in the region as well as a huge variety of museums from Egyptian to the Teddy bear museum.
In short if you are a tourist to the area or a local resident there is so much more than you think to do in the area.
Lastly but not least, there are always many live events happening at most of the attractions and in the town throughout the year.
