There are an incredible amount of afternoon teas in London - and I've tried most! This list is dedicated to the middle range which means you could find cheaper or go for the big names and pay a lot more but all on the list have an honest review to help you chose.


Queen of Hearts Afternoon Tea

The renovated Kensington Hotel is only ten minutes walk from the South Kensington museums so it would be easy to combine a morning museum trip with a relaxing afternoon tea here. The hotel is actually four connected grand Victorian townhouses and there are many period features left to admire. Royal Horseguards


This five star London hotel is close to Trafalgar Square and I've visted twice: with adult friends and with my young daughter for a children's tea. I like the venue and staff do their best to make everyone feel welcome. Music is provided by a harp player positioned just outside The Lounge and it is wondrous to discover her location and enjoy your final cup of tea listening to the music.More »
