Led Dash Lights Are The User Preference
First of all, LED lights are brighter than the lights that have been in use in vehicles before it appeared. Another big advantage of LED lights is that the light is directional. So users can control the direction of the light and make it focus exactly where they want it. Since many LED dash lights come with swivel mounting brackets, the light can be fixed at any angle of the user's choice, different from that of the flash shield, directing it precisely to where it is required.
Some LED dash lights come with a flashback shroud, which will help prevent flashbacks of light from the windshield. Removable flash back shrouds are also available for use with dash lights. Dash lights also come with power plug and cigarette cord that can comfortably fit into the cigarette lighter holder in motor vehicles. Red, blue, white, and amber are the most common colors found in LED dash lights. Some models offer the choice of green color as well. Dash lights are available in one solid color, or different combinations like red and blue, blue and amber, red and amber, or two shades of the same color.
Since LED dash lights have to be mounted on the deck, manufacturers give different mounting options. Magnetic mounting option, mounting bracket with suction cups, loop pads, and adhesive tapes are variously provided in different models of dash lights. Some of the dash lights have all these options within it so that users can use either, based upon where they are mounting it. The various mounting options make it easy to remove dash lights from one place and attach it somewhere else. However, permanent mounting options are also available for those who prefer it. Some LED dash lights come with mount screws and automotive tapes necessary for permanent mounting.
LED dash lights have become the popular user choice today after LED lights have been proven to do a much better job than fluorescent bulbs and halogen bulbs. Besides the extra brightness of the light, and the ability of LED lights to make the light directional, LED bulbs are long lasting and consume less energy as well. Though LED dash lights do not come very cheap, because of their durability and low energy consumption, in the long run it works out cheaper than dash lights using other light technologies.
