Create your own website now – No need to pay for professionals

Contrary to what you mightbelievecreating a website is a simple process.  Of course, big companies have to rely on IT experts to help them create and maintain their websites. But the reason for this is the sheer size of their websites and the huge amounts of data and transactions they handle daily.

To be honest, if you want a website for your personal use or for your small business, it makes a lot of financial sense to create your own website from scratch.   You don't need to hire IT experts to do a job that you can easily do by yourself.

Once you start using these software, you will be pleasantly surprised to realize that they are incredibly easy to use.  In fact they work on exactly the same principle as of any generic wordprocessor.  For example the functions are very similar to Word in Microsoft Office. If you're looking for tutorials on how to design web pages using these programs, you can just search for online manuals on the internet or you can watch videos – Youtube is a great resource.

After you've created your own web page, it's time for you to put your creation online.  If you made a webpage through a free blog site, publishing it won't be difficult because all you need to do is to submit your template and they will do the publishing for you.   By free blog sites, I mean those online services which will put your site on the internet for free.

The main downsides of free blog sites is that firstly you have to use the domain name of the blog site which can make your site look like it's affiliated with it – for example your website will be called weighloss.blogname.com as opposed to just be called weighloss.com.

Secondly, the majority of the blog sites do not guarantee the longevity of your website.  Basically it means that your site could be taken off line at any time without any warning.

If you're willing to spend a small amount of money, (and I strongly advise you to take this option) you can actually publish your site through web hosts and it will just cost you around $3 to $8 per month for an unlimited number of websites. Through these web hosts, you will effectively be renting your online space and this small fee will not only give you peace of mind, but also offer you technical support.  I strongly believe that it is the better option.

By creating your own website, you can definitely save a lot from the expenses brought about by hiring an expert just to make a few web pages.  Additionally, this will enable you to be in total control of your site and do the updates and edits as and when you need to do them.
