The Necessary Evil of Insurance
This can be particularly true if you rarely get sick, and if you do, you don't even consider heading to the doctor or if you've never had so much as a warning let alone a ticket or accident.
So why keep paying those monthly bills? Can't I just be careful and not worry about it? Unfortunately not.
Especially when it comes to auto insurance, insurance is not only necessary, but required.
The main reason for this is obvious, no one knows for sure what is going to happen.
The phrase "just in case" should be the slogan of every insurance company out there.
Just in case you get into an accident, just in case it hails and your car is outside, just in case someone slams into your car and they don't have insurance.
All of these are reasons that we end up with insurance, and honestly, good reasons.
Sure the chances that I will be able to "recover" all of the money that I've paid to my insurance company is very low, but at least I have the peace of mind knowing that I'm covered if something is ever to happen.
It doesn't matter if I'm the most careful driver on the road, or the worst driver on the planet, we all use the same roads and come into constant contact with each other.
You may be a great driver, but what about the guy in the lane next to you? How sure are you he isn't going to hit you? And how sure are you that it won't hail that one day you leave your car in the driveway? Will you have the couple hundred or thousand dollars to cover that? All questions that can be answered by simply getting auto insurance.
Not only that, but it's required by law, and even more insurance is required if you've taken out a car loan.
