- 1). Download and install an archive manager from the Internet. You can select from 7-Zip, PeaZip or jZip. All three applications are free and they work exactly the same. Be sure to select the download file that matches your processor type. For example: 32-bit or 64-bit.
- 2). Right-click the RAR or ZIP archive that you wish to extract and roll your mouse over the name of the archive manager. A context menu will expand to provide more options.
- 3). Click "Extract Here" and wait while the application extracts the contents and saves them to the current folder.
- 4). Double-click the extracted file to work with it.
