Bimini Installation Instructions
- 1). Take the large bow of your Bimini top and slide it right through its sleeve at the back of the top. Make sure that the two holes that are close to the curve at the upright portion of your bow is facing toward the top's front side.
- 2). Take your medium bow and slide this through the top's sleeve located at its forward section. Ensure the holes in this section are facing the back of your Bimini top.
- 3). Slide your last bows through the remaining sleeves of the top. Two of its enclosed straps must be attached to your large bow, and another two should be linked to your medium bow.
- 4). Pass your bows through the strap loops, while securing each strap with your decorative washer and screw. All the ends of your bows must be inserted into the pivot points of your jaw-slide on your main bow.
- 5). Secure these connections with screws to finish assembling the top.
- 1). Place your fully opened top on your boat and mark the largest bow's position with your pencil. Create another mark at the corresponding point across the first mark.
- 2). Install your mounting brackets at these two points. Make sure they are the same distance from the bow. Place your mounting bracket right down on the mark and use your pencil to outline it.
- 3). Mark the other screw holes and create the holes. Use a smaller drill bit than the actual screws when you drill the marked spots for mounting your brackets.
- 4). Secure your brackets to your boat, with the main bow attached to your brackets. Place your forward strap eyes on your boat by drilling holes to attach them. Your forward strap eyes should be mounted for you to place the straps at a 45-degree angle.
- 5). Set the back eyes for your rear straps once your forward strap eyes are installed. Adjust the straps until the Bimini top is horizontally positioned.
