    • 1). Place two pine boards 24 inches long, 2 inches wide and 1 inch thick on a flat surface. Create a rectangular frame with these two pieces and two pieces of pine 12 inches long, 2 inches wide and 1 inch thick.

    • 2). Set one screw on the end where two of the boards touch. Use the electric screwdriver and screw a 3-inch wood screw through the board. Use two boards on each end. Repeat with the other boards of this size, creating four rectangles for the shelves.

    • 3). Apply a thick layer of wood glue to the top of one frame. Press a wood board 24 inches long by 12 inches wide against the wood glue and clamp it in place. Repeat the step with each of the other rectangular frames. Attach wood screws to the top, screwing the hardware through the top piece and into the frame. Attach screws every 4 inches around the top.

    • 4). Remove the clamps and set one of the shelves on the floor. Attach one of the longest pine pieces to the corner of the board with 3-inch wood screws. Make sure that the screw goes through the side and into the shelf.

    • 5). Attach the longest pieces to the other corners with two screws. Move up 12 inches and attach the second shelf, using the same method. Space out the last two shelves and affix to the legs of the unit with the wood screws.
