Heavy Duty Bar Lights For Prolonged Emergency Operations
Heavy duty bar lights come with plenty of advanced features, each with its own purpose. For example, some light bars come with snap-in and lock-in modular construction for various components. This allows you to easily replace individual components or upgrade and service them whenever required. These heavy duty light bars also come with traffic advisor models with bright flashing LED arrow markers that can be used to redirect the vehicles in the desired direction to clear out a jam or a pathway. The light bars also have front, rear and side facing LED modules along with halogen lights and strobe lights for special purposes. All LED light bars are also available and quite popular too, for their energy efficiency and long lifespan.
The bar lights used in emergencies, have to be reliable and should come with built-in flash patterns which can be selected and operated with ease. Scan-Lock mechanism is used to select and lock the desired flash pattern. There is a random-select option available too along with single, double, triple and quad flash patterns with varying flashing speeds. Super bright light heads using generation 4 LEDs are bright, intense and highly reliable. They can be independently controlled on light bars too for additional flexibility. Secondary warning lights are also provided on some light bars. Depending on the number of features and different types of lights affixed on them, the light bars could be up to 72 inches long, although 46 and 56 inch models are extremely popular.
The number of lights installed on the heavy duty bar lights usually varies. Sometimes, there could be LED modules configured to operate with more than a 100 LEDs. The LEDs too have a power rating of 1W, 3W, 5W or even 10W for maximum brightness. The size of the LEDs varies as well and so does the size of the LED modules which use them. Some light bars have multiple segments, each with different colored sets of LEDs providing users a selection of blue, red, green and amber lights. Additional selection and flexibility of choice is also provided through inner filters and outer lenses which not only magnify and spread the light beams but also color them for additional flashing options. The heavy duty light bars thus operate with more options and higher current, although they are well secured against short circuiting or reverse polarity issues.
