    • 1). Wipe the headlight over with a clean, damp mircofibre cloth to remove any dirt or dust. Pay particular attention to any scratched areas that are going to be repaired, as these will need to be clean. Rub the cloth along the length of any large scratches, as this motion will pick up the greatest amount of debris and will cause the least amount of friction to the edges of the scratch.

    • 2). Apply low-tack masking tape to the edge of the headlight to protect the car body. Low-tack masking tape will adhere sufficiently for you to complete your task without permanently sticking to the paintwork and causing damage.

    • 3). Apply liquid scratch remover to a clean polishing cloth and begin to polish the headlight. Cover the entire headlight, moving from left to right and up and down to fill any small scratches. Concentrate on larger scratches with a light pressing motion to push as much scratch remover as possible into the scratch.

    • 4). Wipe the headlight over with a clean mircofibre cloth to remove any excess scratch remover from the surface of the headlight.

    • 5). Run your hand gently over the surface of the headlight and if any scratches are detected, repeat the process with the scratch remover and polishing cloth. It may be necessary to do this two or three times to fully remove all scratches.

    • 6). Spray headlight protection sealant onto the headlight and rub in with a clean microfibre cloth ensuring all visible sections of the headlight are covered. Wipe clean with a polishing cloth and leave to dry. This process can be repeated after an hour or so to provide maximum protection.

    • 7). Remove the masking tape. Gently peel back the masking tape to avoid damaging the Chrysler's paintwork.
