However, you should never replace the support group with treatment. The two should complement each other for them to work best if your doctor has already recommended medication to stop anxiety. You can consider online or offline support groups depending on what’s most suitable for you. Use the support group to help you work through your problems and prevent anxiety symptoms from recurring.
