- 1). Draw a circle for the center of the flower. Draw five half-ovals around the outside of the center circle. This is a basic daisy---the quintessential flower shape.
- 2). Lightly draw a circle, and two lines going from each side of the circle up to a point to form a cone. In a stronger line, make the edge of the circle roughly corrugated, and the two lines a little wobbly to form the basic shape of a snow drop. Draw a candy-cane shaped stem attached to the point of the cone to create the drooping stem. Erase any of the original circle and lines.
- 3). Lightly draw a six-pointed star with a circle in the center as the start of a daffodil. In a darker line, make the edges of the center circle wavy and uneven. In the same darker line, make the points of the star irregular, drooping a little to the side with curved lines. Erase the original star and circle lines to leave the basic form of a daffodil.
- 4). Draw an oval for the start of a basic tulip. Draw another oval that touches the bottom of the outer oval and takes up most of the inside of the first oval. Draw two lines at the top of the second oval, going outward until they touch the line of the first oval. This creates the look of multiple petals in a tulip bud. Draw a stem attached to the base of the oval, by simply drawing two parallel lines from the base.
