Directions for Booting Into the BIOS of a D2246
- 1). Properly shut down your eMachines computer. Click the "Shut down" button on the top right corner of the screen if you are running Linux. Click the "Start" button followed by "Shut down" on the "Start" menu if you are running Microsoft Windows.
- 2). Wait until the computer is powered off, and then turn it back on. Wait until you see the "eMachines" logo, which usually appears within five seconds. Push the "DEL" button on the keyboard to boot into the BIOS menu.
- 3). Press the "Esc" button on the keyboard to save your new BIOS settings once you are finished making changes. Press "Enter" on the keyboard to reboot the computer, and you will boot back into your operating system.
