It never used to be in the business of producing mobile phones, being far more interested in the PC world and online searches, than old fashioned manufacturing and the business of retailing, but now it has changed it's spots, and is heavily committed to the business of making and selling, and it seems it has done a pretty good job.
There will always be detractors saying it's just a copy of Apples iPhone, but there are basic functions to any mobile and the detractors could just as equally say Ford copies Chrysler or General Motors.
If you look over the features of the Nexus-One you realize they didn't make a phone just for the fun of it but to compete with the best of the best and some say it is better than the iPhone in some aspects.
The Nexus-One smartphone is light and has a smooth look with four functional buttons and a trackball.
One of the main features of Nexus is the 480 X 800 OLED touchscreen which is bigger than what the iPhone has and offers bright colors with a good contrast.
The phone also has a 1GB processor and can handle multi-tasking without any difficulties.
The bad part is that all the fun parts of the phone are able to discharge the battery in a very short time and you may need to carry around a car charger.

1 operating system which means the features are numerous and very attractive.
One of these is the Google-Voice which works exquisitely well and allows you to use only your voice to make any calls or send text messages.
This makes the phone very easy to use "hands-off", especially when you are driving or busy doing something else.
Besides this you can use the Voice Keyboard in any app to save you the trouble of typing.
The new features of the Nexus-One include the clock application which is rather fun to use and besides that it has all the usual utilities you might need including alarm and weather.
There is also a cool feature called Live Wallpaper which you can use to select lively fun wallpapers.
The graphical aspect is to be mentioned as Google has added new cool 3d touches.
When talking of the hardware features we would have to mention the screen again as it is magnificent, but surprisingly, it also has other good creative stuff like the second microphone used for effective noise cancellation or as an accelerometer.
Also the 5 megapixel camera with flash is ready to go, and it actually takes very good pictures even when the light is low or if you want to use it for macro photography.
All in all, the Google has gone out of it's way to give you a nice warm feeling and seems the perfect accessory for personal or business use.
