- 1). Press the "5" or "*" key on your ADT keypad and wait for the display to read "Enter Master Access Code."
- 2). Enter the current master code using the device's keypad, or enter the master code used to first program your alarm. The code can be found in the device's user manual.
- 3). Wait for the display to read "[*] to Edit User Code."
- 4). Press the "*" key and the display will read "Enter New Code."
- 5). Enter your desired four-digit code with the keypad and wait for the reprogramming to initiate by sounding three beeps.
- 6). Press the "#" key to exit the programming sequence.
