- 1). Shut down your computer. Restart it while holding down the "F8" key on your keyboard. This method will load the Windows "Advanced Boot Options" menu.
- 2). Use your keyboard down keys to select "Safe Mode" and press "Enter."
- 3). Log on to Windows and click "OK" to proceed into Safe Mode.
- 4). Open your anti-virus software and run a full virus scan. Follow your virus's instructions for removing the trojan once found.
