Home Security Systems - The Growing Necessity in Our Society
Propriety crime represents a little over three fourths of all crime in the United States.
Security systems for this reason play an important role in protecting our homes and our families.
When we think of starting a family and building a home, we envision a safe, familiar place where we can nurture, protect, and raise a family; where we can create and store memories.
This becomes nearly impossible to accomplish, when we think that every 15 seconds somewhere in the United States a home full of memories and treasures is being burglarized, and families are being violated and put in danger.
With these statistics in mind you would think that more people would be concerned about the safety of their families and their propriety.
When we are not equipped with the appropriate protection for our homes, such as a home security system, we are living with a false sense of safety, endangering our loved ones, and we risk losing all that we have spent our lives building.
Statistically speaking a home without a security system is two to three times more likely to be invaded and burglarized.
Most burglaries more often than not happen during the night, when families are sleeping and are most vulnerable.
When a thief is daring enough to enter a home where people are sleeping it means that he is willing to risk everything and do all it takes to accomplish his mission.
The robber in this case becomes a serious threat to the family and each members life is in danger.
If though the family has an alarm system and it sounds when the burglar tries to break into the house, most likely than not he will run away.
Many robbers do not even attempt to enter homes that have an alarm system in place.
When an alarm security system sounds it alerts the family as well as the police that an intruder is trying to enter the home.
This gives the family time to react to the thief intrusion and gives the police the chance of arresting a robber, preventing future burglaries.
Once a family has experienced a burglary they feel violated, they live in fear, and their home no longer provides them with a feeling of security and safety.
A security system can help prevent families from experiencing such negative incidents.
Propriety crime would not be so high if more people benefited from home security systems.
Less families would be threatened and more people would be protected.
Homes would truly be a place where our families can build memories and feel protected.
