Place a cup of white vinegar in a stainless steel pot or pan that has severely burned or baked-on food.

Fill the pot up at least halfway or as far up as needed to cover the remaining food.

Allow the pot to sit for about an hour and then place it on a stove to boil. Boil the vinegar and water solution inside the pot for approximately 10 minutes.

Empty the water and vinegar out of the pot and scrub the pot as normal with soap and water.

Clean the inside and outside of a stainless steel with half of a lemon. The acid in the lemon cuts through any grease and removes stains.

Use baking soda and a soft cloth to clean the outside of a stainless steel pot or pan. Baking soda is a natural cleaner and a natural scratch-free abrasive.

Remove fingerprints with with a soft cloth soaked with white vinegar, rubbing alcohol or a glass cleaner.
