Writing Straight From the Heart
All this is very fine and must be adhered to if you want your articles to rank high in the search engines.
But, at the other end, it is a human being who is going to read that article.
And we humans not being machines will not get influenced if there is no sincerity and passion in the article.
The one advice I did not come across anywhere is writing straight from the heart.
I have not seen anyone giving this advice; which means you write about something that you are passionate about and that gives you real pleasure.
Then, you can write with good flow and rhythm without having to bother about spellings, grammar and without having to look at the computer screen.
Just punch away as it comes to your mind straight from the heart.
What happens when you write like this? You connect with your audience instantly.
There is truth and passion in what you are telling and it touches your readers.
They can see and feel the honesty and feelings going into your writing.
If that happens, whatever you are trying to tell in the article; be it an advice or be it a product you are trying to promote, or be it just an experience that you are sharing carries that much more meaning.
This idea hit me recently while I was watching a movie.
When you are using a product or a service and you have immensely benefited from it or you get much more than what was promised, it gives you real pleasure.
While describing this product, the words will flow fluently and naturally and those are the words that connect.
You don't have to search for words to describe your feelings or experience.
So, it comes to pass that if you have to write straight from the heart, you should have used the item or the service and it should have greatly benefited you.
How many times we have heard people say that write a review about a product only after you use it.
Then there will be truth and passion in what you are writing.
I have seen so many product review sites all over the net and we know how truthful they are about what they are promoting.
You just cannot be passionate about something without having experienced it.
